Window Brands That Qualify for the 2009 $1,500 Tax Credit

This is a work in progress and information is changing daily so please check page to find the most up to date information. Door and Window Plus is located in the Los Angeles / Orange County Area so this list is for Windows and Doors sold in California. Windows and Doors sold in different parts of the county can be different from each other. Door and Window Plus sells over 20 vinyl windows brands so have more access on which brands qualify and which ones don’t . Just remember it is the homeowners responsibility to find out if the windows they bought meet the new requirements according to the I.R.S. We are seeing dealers claim their windows they sell  meet the requirements but can not produce any paperwork to verify this. Sad to say but the homeowner will be the one out $1,500 if they don’t do their homework. 

I am trying to compile a list of window brands that meet the new requirements for the $1,500 Tax Credit. There is alot of confusion because some window companies are not letting homeowners know if their products qualify or not. If a company does not list on their website if their window products qualify or not I have put them in the Do Not Qualify list. I have called and asked for a list and have not received one.

Door and Window Plus is trying to educate the public so they don’t miss out on this Tax Credit. Some companies seem not to care and aren’t letting customers know there is a Tax Credit available if they buy certain window and door brands that meet certain qualifications.
